Dear Family and Friends,

I had a truly amazing week. I am going to Fairbanks this Wednsday morning. We are flying there. I am still a district leader. I am not excited about it because I have two sets of sisters in my district and the dang zone leaders. I do not know what the heck president was thinking. Ugh ha-ha but o well.

So on Saturday I was blessed to go to the temple with the Flowerdew family. (The Flowerdew's are the first family that Ammon baptized when he got to Alaska). Wow what an experience that was. I was there when they got their endowments and I was there to see them be sealed as a family. I can't tell you all that happened but I was asked to be the witness of the sealing by Brother Flowerdew. Mom and Dad, I have never been so touched by the Spirit in my whole life as I was seeing that family who a year ago got baptized and now they were in the Temple of God being sealed for time and all eternity. I cried like a baby and I will just have to tell you about it over the phone at Christmas. The man who sealed the Flowerdew's was the temple president and he also spoke in the Wasilla stake conference yesterday. He told everyone about me and the Flowerdew's. He used my name and he said he was touched by how he felt the love that I had for the Flowerdew's and the love they had for me. I was not able to be at the stake conference but the mission president told me about it. I can't tell you how I felt because I am still trying to figure it out. But I can tell you that was the best feeling I have ever had in my whole life. If that was just a taste of what heaven is like then I can't wait, I want to go now. That was the best experience of my life so far. I wish I could call you and tell you all about it but could you do me a favor. Mom, can you maybe send them a congratulations gift from you guys to them. That would be so cool. I believe they are friends with me on Facebook and you should be able to get their address if not call the office and you can get it. Thanks.
Well that was like everything I had to say. So yes I am going to Fairbanks. It is like -30 degrees there right now. That kind of sucks but o well. Lol. So about Grandpa’s money, you can just put it in my account now. It's fine. I have to send some stuff home anyways. I don't have time to email them now so I will tell them now. Grandpa and Jan, thank you so much. I love you both. You are such a huge support for me. Thank you for all you do and continue to do. Merry Christmas.
Oh, Dad there is a guy up here in Anchorage that knows you and that worked with you. He has requested that I teach him. He is friends with some guy up here. We got a referral from some guy up here yesterday that is a member that knows this guy that knows you. So if you know anything about this let me know. I will be meeting him on Tuesday before I fly out. Keep up the good work.
Have a good week ya’all. Be safe and remember who you are.

Hey Mom and Family back home,

Sorry I couldn't email yesterday. It was a holiday as you might have guessed. We still have p-day every Monday even if there is a holiday we just email the next available day. Not too big of a deal. Also I got your letter. Thanks so much for giving me an update. Also I got the pants you sent me. They fit just right. Thanks so much you all are life savers.

Yes, I am driving on the snow and ice. Mostly just ice. It's pretty nasty. I would much rather drive on the snow. It's really not that big of a deal to drive on though. You just have to pay attention and know how to handle the car if you slip. Oh and by the way I am driving a car right now. It's a Chevy Malibu. They are hunks of junk. Don't ever buy one. I am getting transfer next week. Woo, I am excited. I am pretty sure it’s going to be Fairbanks. Wow it’s going to be cold up there. It's already -30 and it’s not the cold season yet. Lol.
So Trisha has just fallen off the deep end. We call her every day and leave messages and we stop by her house. She is just not working out. She is off date now for her baptism and looks like she is staying that way. Too bad. Last night we had an awesome lesson with a part member family.  The lesson was on faith and we did the faith rocket. Then we gave them all Book of Mormons and challenged them all to read it every day and they all took a copy and said they would. So whoever stays here will get at least one baptism.
It makes me so happy to hear that Avary likes the ring. Lol. That's funny it only fits on her pinky finger. Dang that girl must have been growing big. I just always picture her as my little baby sister. It gets really hard seeing all of my sisters and cousins growing up and starting to make big life choices. It's really scary but really cool as well. It makes me feel old. Lol. Oh well that's life. I can imagine how dad feels. Ha ha ha. He is 44.  Woo what an old man. Ha ha ha. Dad I am only kidding. Please don't kick my butt when I get home.  Well, I got to get going. Thanks for all the info on back home. Have a good week and remember who you are.

PS. Mom read 2 Nephi 31 or chapter 32. I can't remember. It's the one that talks about Christ's baptism. Well in that chapter in talks about people who fall away from the gospel. Now think of how important it is that we help and save those people from falling into the trap of the devil. Let me know what you think of that chapter.

Good Morning People,

Well it was a good last week. It was full of service and teaching less actives. It was also a sad week. The Russian man we were teaching dropped us. He said the church is not for him. I do not know what happened but we think someone got to him and told him something that pushed him away but we won't give up on him. We have members that live next to him to be friends with him and still keep tabs on this guy. But other than that it has just been a lot of good less active work which is just as important as nonmembers if not more important. Well transfers are on the 20th of November, two days before Thanksgiving. Ha-ha. Really cool. NOT. I will probably be leaving this area.  So it will be an awkward Thanksgiving. Oh well life goes on. Lol. It's my last one woo.
The lady at the book store is doing good. I will be seeing her today. I am glad Avary got her ring. Does it fit? I guessed on the size. Oh well. I will be keeping my eyes open for the package that you sent me. You asked about Christmas, well I can't think of anything. Just money but I know you don't like sending money because that's not cool in your opinion to open up on Christmas. Lol. Well the only thing that I can think of at the moment would be a truck for when I get home. I could really use one of those. Ha-ha. So if you want to get me one of those for Christmas, be my guest. Lol
Mom, thank you so much for all the effort you put into the emails. It really means a lot to me. Thanks. I love you mom, I always will. Well that's pretty cool about Mr. Hayes running for something in the state. I am nervous about tomorrow but I have faith in the Lord that all will happen the ways it's supposed to be. Well shoot; I really don't have much time. I am sorry. Ugh. It's been a weird day. I love you all so much. Keep up the good work and remember whose side you are on the Lord's side.
